Reserving Space or Equipment
- Go to http://footprints.csp.edu/FER.html
- You will need your L number to access the form.
- This would be the form that you would fill out for any meetings held in public Concordia space (anywhere besides the residence halls).
- This would also be the form that you fill out if you need any sort of audio visual equipment, like an LCD projector for showing Power Points, or a DVD player or TV.
Technical People
- Jason Moran: x8766. He is Concordia's Help Desk Superhero. He would the one to talk about setting up a Concordia Mission Society webpage that is attached to the school server or a CMS email.
- Chad Hormann: x(603)6142. Chad is the go-to man about any specific audio visual questions that you might have.
- September Nelson: x(603)6163. September is the one to ask about specific event needs that you may have.
Advertising at Concordia
- If you are having an event on campus, make sure that you have filled out the FER form
- Make sure that you have a date and time posted on each flier that you put up. If there aren’t dates, they will be discarded
- Once the event is over, CMS is responsible for pulling down all fliers (this includes staples and tape on the walls).
- Only place posters/fliers on bulletin boards in the Tunnel. The tunnel does not include doors, windows, stair cases, classrooms, Tier Zero, or the blue walls next to the Admission office. The tunnel also goes from the President’s dining hall to the Student Union
- Only use scotch or masking tape on the walls or bulletin boards. Duct tape, Packing Tape, or Two sided tape is not allowed.
- Utilize your email to send out information about what is going on with CMS. If you don’t know how to set up a distribution list, talk to the Computer Help Desk and they can help you out.
Working with CAB and Senate
- At the beginning of each year, there is a Clubs and Orgs fair which is where students sign up for what clubs they are interested in.
- CMS usually works together with OHSCO organize a table together.
- Additionally, Senate partially funds CMS. In order to get funding, a representative from CMS is required to attend a meeting held with heads from all of the other clubs and some members of Senate to find out what it is that we need to do to get funding and keep funding. These meetings are usually the 1st Wed of every month
- Be sure and ask for cash advances on anything you decide to spend club money on 2 weeks ahead of time
